The Dons have beaten mighty Park City in consecutive matches. This is the equivalent of Goliath being slayed TWICE! Basically, what the golf team is doing is a BIG deal! Noah Taylor is leading the way. He keeps shooting scores under par and stands alone in first place in the region. Sophomore Jackson Rhees is also doing very impressive things on the golf course. He stands alone in third place in the individual race. His 73 On Monday was bested only by his own teammate. Michael Wyss and Kade Christensen rounded out the scoring for the Dons in this week’s match. Earlier this season, Max Murray shot a 68 in a region match and has been a huge contributor throughout. Seniors Austin Worthen and Sam Jex have done some good things at the varsity level and their younger teammates, Payton Whitehead and Kason Dart have also made their presence known. Bryce Bingham, Preston Field, and WIll Blackhurst round out the roster for the SF golfers of 2020. The Mighty Dons are rolling along nicely right now and are looking to defeat all of Region 8 once again when they resume play in Park City on September 10 following their bye week.
