Sports Physicals Offered- May 11th

Physicals Offered!  This will be held at Maple Mountain High School on Wednesday May 11th from 3:30-6:30 PM.  The cost is $20 and the paperwork will be available there at check-in.  Meet in the athletic commons as if you’re going to the basketball gym.  You are required to have a physical prior to trying out

Cambrie Hazel- Athlete of the Week

Cambrie Hazel – Varsity Pitcher Cambrie has a 13-2 pitching record in her 2nd year as a varsity pitcher.  She was nominee for Gatorade Player of the Year and an awesome contributor to our Softball team. Congrats Cambrie!!

Kjirsten Collins – New SFHS Cheer Coach

Kjirsten Collins has been involved in cheerleading for 13 years.  She has participated in all-star and high school cheerleading in both Utah and Arizona, and most recently was a cheerleader at Brigham Young University.  Kjirsten choreographed the state-winning competition routine for Salem Hills High School in 2014.  She attended Brigham Young University, where she earned

Isaac Pendleton – Athlete of the Week

Isaac Pendleton – Track Isaac Pendleton competed at the Dixie Invitational in St. George this past week earning 1st place in the 400 with a time of 50.28. This will qualify him for State.  He also took 2nd in the 200 with a time of 22.82.  Congrats Isaac!!  

Brylee Rudd – Athlete of the Week

Brylee Rudd – Varsity Catcher Spanish Fork softball freshman Brylee Rudd hit a walkoff grand slam to beat Maple Mountain 9-7 in a game last week.  Bottom of the 8th inning, 2 outs behind by two runs and Brylee slammed it over the fence for the win.  Brylee also was instrumental in the 15-1 win

New School Record set in Track

Michael Whittaker threw the javelin 191 feet 11 inches to set a new school record in the javelin in the Utah Country Championships over the weekend.  This throw is an all time top ten throw in the state of Utah,  He remains ranked 2nd this season in the state in the javelin amongst throwers from

SFHS Athletes sign with Colleges

Two of our SFHS athletes are signing to play at the college level: Emily Allan will be signing with Big Ben Community College in Washington to play basketball. Haylie Smith will be signing with Snow College to play softball. The signing will take place on Monday, April 18th at 11:30 am in the main gym

Michael Whittaker – Athlete of the Week

Michael Whittaker is a senior javelin thrower.  Michael threw a personal best of 183’10” at the Juab Invitational.  Michael currently holds the position of the 2nd overall distance at SFHS.  He is also currently ranked #2 in the state in the Javelin

Riley Daniels – Athlete of the Week

Riley Daniels is a senior baseball player.  He is one of our pitchers and plays 3rd base.  In a recent 3-2 victory over Wasatch, Riley was the winning pitcher.  Riley also went 3-3 at the plate. Congrats Riley!!
